SUSPEND was there front and center at Tried & True Co. when Drake surprised his Los Angeles fans who had waited in line to receive a complimentary 'Nothing Was the Same' apparel prior to his album's release. Drake had posted a photo on Instagram with three retail locations a few days before. Fans in the area caught wind of the Los Angeles-based vintage boutique's location and waited in line, with some even driving from Colorado to secure an early spot in the queue. Crystal Robles, co-owner of the shop, allowed fans to enter in small groups at a time with doors opening at 3pm PST. Unbeknownst to fans, Drake (fresh from taping an appearance earlier on "The Ellen Show") and his OVO entourage had arrived to the shop's location from a backdoor entrance where he stayed and took photos with fans before leaving the Fairfax District. Also in attendance at the 'NWTS' pop-up shop was fellow recording artist, Casey Veggies, who joined guests as they posed up against the white wall with 'NOTHING WAS THE SAME' plastered in uppercase lettering.
