We first heard about ReggieKnow after his "Public Figure" art exhibit last year where he explained what his 12" action figures represent to him:
"Because the internet killed all fashion interests I had, the FFINC action figures provided a way for me to still be into fashion without me having to wear the clothes."
ReggieKnow, Founder of Fashion Figure Inc., recently directed and debuted "Kraft Of Revenge: Mousetrap 2" with Def Jam Executive VP No I.D. He also conceived the Voltron Hip-Hop Sprite commercials (1998). The multi-talented filmmaker and marketing creative added a new series of 12" action figures to his FFINC repertoire – unveiling the four newest figures on July 17 at Jason Markk in Little Tokyo. (For further insight into the process behind the conception of ReggieKnow's figures, read our interview with him here.)
"Yesterday morning my roommates voted me out over breakfast. Is it that serious? Who doesn’t put extra sneakers in the kitchen cabinets when their closet is full? Cereal can go on the floor, that’s why it’s in a box. Smh.”
ii. Angry Ex
“I’m far from angry, I drove him all around town and out of town for his sneakers when he moved here. I set up his sneaker websites and social channels. He moved in with me and moved all my clothes, shoes and cereal to my car, I kicked him out. My friends say I dress like we’re still dating…not true, my style is total culinary arts.”
iii. 90's style
“My older brother is a 90’s dude, which I respect but this sneaker cleaning routine is getting old. I shouldn’t be choking from bleach just to get dressed everyday. It has to be another way to keep it real, besides a toothbrush.”
iv. little tokyo
"Instead of cleaning the Jordans I went down town to get new ones. I see sneakers in the window at this place Jason Markk...damn, they clean sneakers. I was so upset I was new to the place I acted like I knew as dude walked me through the process. Then my ex texted me."
